At Knights we have some of lowest fees around for tenants to move in and all our properties are well maintained. We want the process of finding your new home to be as stress free as possible so we will always keep you informed with clear, concise information.
Once you have viewed a property you like we get you to come into the office to carry out credit checks and obtain references from previous landlords. There is a non-refundable fee for credit checking however we take all steps prior to carry out the checks to minimise the risk of a negative result. It is recommend at this stage to be completely open and honest as our staff will be able to advise you as to the likelihood of you passing the credit checks based on the credit history you inform us of.
Poor credit history does not necessarily mean you will not be accepted as we ask that a guarantor be provided with every tenancy (where possible). The guarantor needs to own their own home, have acceptable credit history and be prepared to remain as guarantor for the duration of the tenancy.
Once you have successfully passed all the required checks we will take a deposit equivalent to one month’s rent and the property will be removed from the market. At that time we will schedule a day and time for your tenancy to commence and prepare all the necessary paperwork for you to begin. On the day of your tenancy commencing you will need to visit our office with all tenants over the age of 18 and the guarantor if there is one. You will need to allow around 30-45 minutes in the office to sign all the paperwork and pay the outstanding balance (first month’s rent and fees) and then be able to go directly to the property where staff member will meet you to check you in. Then the keys are yours and you are free to move in!

£120 + VAT (single or multiple tenancy)
Pet fee (where applicable)
£60 + VAT per pet (not all properties will accept pets, it is down to the individual landlord to decide)
Deposit- Equivalent to one month rent
